Wireless operators in France had a life expectancy of six weeks. Noor was actively transmitting for over three times as long.

While she was in France, every other wireless operator in her network was slowly picked off until she was the last radio link between London and Paris. It was “the most dangerous and important post in France”.

She was offered a way back to Britain and refused.

In fact, in her transmissions to London, she once said that she was having the time of her life, and thanked them for giving her the opportunity to do this.

She was captured by the Gestapo, but never gave up: she made three attempt escapes. One involved asking to take a bath, insisting on being allowed to close the door to preserve her modesty, and then clambering onto the roof of the Gestapo HQ in Paris.

Her last word before being shot was, “Liberté!”

The term BAMF was coined for such persons.

Okay so mongoose. Actually, in my ‘verse Steve (aka, CAPTAIN AMERICA) has a mongoose daemon.

Basically: mongooses are small scrawny things, they look like weasels and no one likes a weasel. No one really expects much of them at first glance.

But shit, they are TOUGH. They kill animals far bigger than themselves, and can even go toe-to-toe with poisonous snakes, and almost always come out the victor. In literature, they are associated with saviors - the most famous being Rikki Tikki Tavi, a valiant young mongoose who saved his family from a pair of cobra bullies who would kill the young boy. At great personal risk, almost dying himself, he protects those he loves. After that, he serves as their protecter forevermore.

So someone who is far greater than they seem, who is small but tough and fearless, and who loves very deeply. They’re smart, clever even with an uncanny knack for evading traps and getting into places they shouldn’t. In addition, they are capable of living entirely solitary lives - indicative of an independent personality. However, most species prefer living in packs, showing that even though they are perfectly fine with being alone but that they prefer being around those they love.

This is how it starts, you know. I keep going on this and pretty soon it’s going to be apocaverse all over again. (Why are all of my happy ongoing universes about survival after some great cataclysm? Even the damn HGAU, though I’d hardly call it happy, is distinctly future-dystopian.)

On the other hand, writing headcanon out like this is a lot less low-pressure than actually trying to somehow compose a proper single work of fiction, so what the hey. Off we go.

well for one thing we don’t know for sure that she’s dead. It is HEAVILY IMPLIED that Hannibal is about to kill her but until we see her corpse we can’t assume anything. Actually I also think the could discover a horrifically mutilated corpse with her clothes and assume it’s her but then DUN DUN DUN it’s revealed that Hannibal killed another girl to make it seem lie Abigail was dead and you see her ~alive~

But if she is dead, and the show really wants us to believe that she is, then it’s because she was too much of a liability. She knew who he was, and she’d already proven to be a wild card by working with Freddie and digging up the body. He couldn’t protect her, and he couldn’t risk her, so in death he saved her. Does that make sense?

And of course he would never ever eat her. Because he really did love her, in his twisted fucked up way. It’s just that, as we well know, just because Hannibal loves you doesn’t mean he won’t break you. In fact, that’s what love is for him

yeah but that’s still singing. Also, we’re only seen him perform twice at NYADA and both those times he was standing stock still.

What I meant more is that she can’t really sing, and he’s super snide about that because he’s feeling insecure because she just ripped him a new one (and when Kurt is upset he lashes out. This is canon. Does not make him a bad person, just makes him a person) and so she fires right back like WELL AT LEAST I CAN ACT. I SAW YOU IN CLASS, THAT WAS SOME SHITTY ACTING RIGHT THERE, YOU’RE TOTALLY JUST RELYING ON YOUR VOICE’S INDIVIDUALITY

and she’s kind of bluffing, because he’s definitely not bad. He’s pretty good! But she is right, in that he focuses way more on his voice. So he starts to get into acting,and he decides to join some plays and then gets roped into helping with the costumes and discovers all over again how much fun fashion is and just aslkjfa;

Sorry I got a little sidetracked there. Point is, that Kurt uses the stage a lot! SUPER WELL actually. But at NYADA we have not seen him do that. And we haven’t actually ever seen him act- we just know he was cast in small roles in high school and saw a weird silent (voiced over) bit he did for class that didn’t look particularly good. But then we didn’t actually know what the fuck he was doing. So I’m guessing it’s not his strong point, which she aims right for.

a bisexual girl who is initially plotted as Kurt’s enemy, since she overhears him being biphobic and goes ALL Attila on him. She’s a tiny acting powerhouse who makes fun of him for relying so much on his voice (WHAT, YOU’RE JUST GONNA STAND THERE ON BROADWAY AND SING? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT) and fires him up into doing 110%

He finds her knitting a terrible wonky scarf because she doesn’t have the money to buy her girlfriend a birthday present because her parents disowned her after she came out to them and realizes that… it’s not easy being bi, it’s not Gay-Lite so gay guys can pretend to be normal or girls can play both sides or whatever. And in the end they become friends (and they bake cheesecake together)
